Guidelines for Submission of Artwork
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS:
A high quality copy of your artwork or logo in an electronic file format is the preferred way of submitting electronic artwork. Electronic artwork is divided into two distinct types, vector art and bitmaps. Vector artwork is composed of lines that have been created in an illustration program such as CorelDRAW, or Illustrator. Bitmap artwork is composed of pixels that have been created in a desktop publishing program, photo editing program or through the scanning process. Vector art is preferred because it can be easily manipulated and sized without any loss of quality. Bitmap artwork can not be easily manipulated and will result in a significant loss of quality when it is resized. The quality of your imprint depends upon the quality of artwork supplied to us. To avoid delays and art charges please supply CLEAN CAMERA READY artwork. Please Note: ALL FONTS MUST BE CONVERTED TO OUTLINES, CURVES OR PATHS.
Artwork can be accepted from the following programs:
CorelDraw - 12.0 or lower
Adobe Illustrator - 10.0 or lower
Photoshop 9.0 or lower
All EPS or TIFF files (scanned or created) must be INITIALLY SCANNED from CAMERA READY artwork at 600 dpi or higher, 100% of final size or larger.
Many imprinting processes will require that bitmap artwork be converted to vector artwork prior to production. If your artwork is not a print quality file, our art department can recreate the artwork for you. For example, if the only logo file you have is from your website, we can recreate it in a high quality format suitable for print output. Please send us what you have (even if it doesn't meet the above criteria), as it can serve as a starting point for us to use. Art charges will be assessed according to time, difficulty and billed at $35.00 per hour.
